What (casual) fun! Went there for the first time yesterday with a friend and was pleasantly surprised. Something like five bars, multiple levels, lots of South Florida charm, on the water, views, breeze, and happy hour drinks. I would have taken pictures of the shrimp but we ate them too fast. Arthur the upstairs bartender was nice and accommodating. They had a band that rocked and everyone had a good time. I will definately go back.
Firefighters gathering. Most food was good. The coconut shrimp was a disappointment. Did not taste like coconut and shrimp was small. It was like eating an empty shell. They gave large Key lime portions to share complimentary. That was amazing . If I knew it was that good, I would have had that to eat instead. The service was alot for one waitress. Had to wait for drink to come ask 2x. When I got it was watery and warm. Then ask for straw, she forgot me. So the martini was terrible.
The food, the service and atmosphere is outstanding. Live band was playing and we all ate by the water. Very cool breeze feeling weather wise and otherwise. Nice little gift shop selling T's, hats, decals and more. Server was great, the Mahi Mahi sandwich was very good, the Grouper sandwich was very good too. We could not leave until we each had a slice of the Key Lime pie which is amazing.
OMG! I can’t believe we waited so long to find this fantastic place! Old time Florida atmosphere, scrumptious fish (among other yummy items), and terrific service. Now that we know how great it is, we can’t wait to go back. —In fact, I should have made up a bad review to scare everyone else away! Lol.
The food was 2/5, but the atmosphere, service, and key lime pie made up for it. Pros: - Atmosphere. It’s a huge place with different areas for whatever you’re looking for. Water front, water side, inside, outside, shade, sun, bar, under a fan, no fan, someplace cold, someplace hot, whatever you want. - Service. Our server Ginny was great. Cons: - The food. The vast majority of their options are fried and pub-style options. Their salads were mediocre at best. - The presentation. Some of the dishes tasted great but they looked horrendous. Presentation would help to flip this around. - No menu online - Terrible website If you’re coming for the food, go someplace else. If you’re coming for the pie, this is the place!! May I suggest adding an online menu and updating your website? It’s a bit frustrating to look at menus from Google Maps and then show up to a completely different menu at the table. And your website need a refresh.
Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food (everywhere we tried was amazing!), and excellent waitstaff. I went there with a friend for my birthday while staying with my Dad during his surgery. We had such a good time that I took my husband there when he arrived, then took my Dad there after he got out of the hospital. Everyone loved it! Three times is not enough!
We were visiting Boynton Beach area on the east coast of Florida for the first time. We stumbled across this restaurant looking for live music on a Sunday instead the football games were on College sports. We had the best time with the locals and the bartenders watching the game. For every touchdown scored for the Florida Gators you received a free shot. I have to say out of all the places we visited this was my favorite. Our food was delicious the atmosphere was beautiful right on the water and the place was jam-packed!
